What is the Jet Plasma Lift?

Jet Plasma is the most advanced Plasma technology available to offer a Plasma treatment for the face or body with zero downtime and pain! Jet Plasma excites the cells and makes the skin more receptive and reactive to products meaning your products are like superheroes stimulating fibroblasts, collagen and elastin growth. 


Collagen and Elastin production slows down from the mid-'20s, so stimulating growth will make your skin more youthful. The treatment also has a tightening effect to some degree.

  • How long will the effect of Jet Plasma treatments last?

    The Jett Plasma treatment stimulates instant contraction and shortening of skin fibres, which continues to take effect in the first 2-4 weeks up to 3 months. 

     

    The effect of the treatment is subjective to several treatments and your ageing process but typically may last in-between 2-5 years. 


    You will age as you would otherwise, and your skin will continue to lengthen and relax as part of the ageing process.


    Depending on your ageing process, we recommend repeating treatments 1 to 3 times after the initial procedure. Everyone is different.

  • Who Should Not Have Jet Plasma Treatments ?

    You are not a candidate for Jet Plasma Lift if you have any of the following:

    • Epilepsy
    • Pregnancy
    • Pacemakers
    • Patients with metal implants (joint replacements, orthopaedic implants, in the area to be treated.)  
    • Acute inflammatory disease   
    • Oncological illness 

  • How is the treatment done?

    After the device is applied, the client will experience some heat from the spark created, which is very tolerable. 


    This spark or plasma arc creates a response in the skin, leading to collagen induction/production and the subsequent rejuvenating and lifting effect.


    As a result of the electric voltage, a cascade of 

    Physiological processes occur, which result in the cell membranes tightening.


    When most cells in the treatment area tighten up, they are immediately visible to the naked eye. 


    It is like erasing wrinkles in front of your eyes.

  • What are the benefits of Jet Plasma?

  • How many treatments are required?

    The number of treatments required will vary according to the condition, the skin’s laxity, the desired degree of correction and the individual’s response to the treatment. Most clients can see results instantly, which continues to improve over the following eight weeks. Further treatments can be done for individuals seeking better results. Appointments for a second treatment in the same area must be spaced one week apart for the best results. After a series of 3, we recommend appointments based on need.

  • Does Jet Plasma hurt and is there any down time?

    ZERO DOWNTIME!

    Jet Plasma is a pain-free treatment, meaning no numbing is needed. During the treatment, you may feel slight warmth in some areas. There are no significant side effects following a Jet Plasma treatment. You may have some slight redness, and your skin may feel somewhat tight; however, no visual recovery time is required after this treatment.

  • Can Jet Plasma be paired with other treatments?

    Jet Plasma is non-invasive, meaning clients can receive specific other skincare treatments with Jet Plasma. Ask your esthetician about pairing Jet Plasma with another treatment to achieve your ideal aesthetic goals. If you get Botox or Filler, you MUST wait two weeks after the injection before receiving a Jet Plasma treatment.

  • What After Care is needed after a Jet Plasma Treatment?

    Following your treatment, the channels created in the skin are open; therefore, NOTHING must be applied to the skin for 12 hours. No skincare or makeup can be worn after the treatment for 12 hours. It is also recommended that you do not exercise, enter a sauna or be exposed to steam for 12 hours post-treatment. Once a Jet Plasma treatment is performed, go home and binge-watch something on a streaming service.

  • How often can you do Jet Plasma?

    The frequency of jet plasma treatments depends on several factors, including the individual's skin type, the severity of their skin concerns, and their desired results. In general, waiting six to eight weeks between jet plasma treatments is recommended to allow the skin to heal and recover fully. However, this can vary depending on the individual and their skin concerns.
