  • What is the downtime for Elaine Brennan peel?

    The Elaine Brennan Skin Renewal Peel is an 8  - 10 day process, the top layers of dead skin peel off revealing beautiful skin. 

    The GetGlowing MicroPeel only has a 24 hour downtime, with some minor shedding usually. However this varies depending on the individual.

  • Is this suitable for all skin types?

    Yes anyone can have the peel.

    However, if you have an allergy to resorcinol, salacylic or mandelic acid you will not be able to have the peel. Hair dye contains  resorcinol so if you have a reaction to hair dye it is highly likely you will have a reaction to the peel.

  • What are the side-effects of Elaine Brennan Micro Peel?

    There are usually no side effects with either peel, however, we can’t guarantee that you won’t have a histamine reaction. If that is the case, and it is very rare, we would guide you through it.

  • Am I a candidate?

    This facial peel is suitable and safe for all skin types, including very sensitive skin and all ethnicities and ages. 

  • Does it hurt?

    The Elaine Brennan Skin Renewal Peel is uncomfortable for around 10 minutes, during this time we supply a fan to ease the sensation. The GetGlowing MicroPeel has minimal discomfort.

  • How long does it take?

    The Elaine Brennan Skin Renewal Peel is applied over 2 days, for 2 hours each day.

    The GetGlowing MicroPeel takes around 1 hour.

  • What results will I see?

    Results vary from person to person, we can’t guarantee a result, however you may expect to see refined pores, less pigmentation, or moving the pigmentation closer to the surface so to hasten it’s journey, acne and or blackheads gone or improved greatly, wrinkle depth and fine lines improved due to new collagen regeneration.

  • What happens to my skin after the procedure?

    After the Elaine Brennan Skin Renewal Peel, your skin will likely appear sunburnt initially, then darken to a brown tone before beginning to peel — this is all part of the normal process. 


    The GetGlowing MicroPeel is a gentler option. You may experience some redness and light shedding, though the level of exfoliation varies from person to person. 

  • How many treatments are required?

    Excellent results are seen after just one peel. If you have deeper pigmentation or profound acne scars, you may want to do two peels in a row (with 6-8 weeks between them). We recommend that clients get a yearly peel to keep improving their skin. As with any treatment, individual results may vary.

  • What are the active ingredients in the Peel?

    Resorcinol, Kojic Acid, and Salicylic acid. All ingredients used in the peeling system are of the finest medical-grade quality, Always cruelty-free.
